Fees & Registration

Conference fee:

Please note that EUROMECH membership is expected in order to register at the EUROMECH Colloquium.

Non-EUROMECH members who wish to participate automatically become members for one year when they register for the Colloquium. The membership fee for one year is 24€ and is included in the registration fee for non-members.

Prices:

Regular fee: 500 €

The regular fee includes welcoming breakfast every day (Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 August), lunch and dinner for Tuesday and Wednesday lunch, drinks and snacks during all coffee breaks, and social program.

PhD grants:

To support and encourage early stage researchers to participate in the colloquium, there are a few grants available for PhD students who have received their doctoral degree within the last 12 months.

The grant covers part of the fees and reduces the fees to 300 € for the same services.

Grants cannot be refunded or disbursed in cash.

Applicants must submit an abstract. To apply for a grant, please prepare the following documents and send them to euromech595@centralelille.fr together with the abstract before the end of the deadline for abstract submission:

  • a short scientific CV (max. 1 page A4/US letter)
  • a letter of interest that briefly summarizes your research, how this relates to the colloquium topics, and the gain expected from participating in the meeting (max. 1 page A4/US letter)

Applications of eligible candidates will be evaluated by a committee of experienced scientists based on the quality of the submitted documents. The awardees will be informed together with the notification of abstract acceptance.
